Japan and Spain love stories about maternity and probono: Mamabono
Mamabono allows professional mothers on maternity leave/childcare leave or actively seeking employment after maternity, the opportunity to connect to the world of work through pro bono (professional volunteering).
Thus, Mamabono aims to improve the transition back to work for women after maternity leave, while assisting in the management of NGOs that do not have resources in a certain area of their management.
Mamabono” is a pro bono program created in Japan by Service Gran Japan, implemented in Spain by Work for Social.
We will have a very interesting conversation with Ikuma SAGA and Andrea Sánchez, Directors of Service Grant and Work for Social to know more about their motivations to implement this program, the challenges and opportunities in their regions, and very important how moms experienced contributing to society, while they get prepared to return to work after their maternity leave and combine this experience with one of the most important roles in their life: Maternity.
