The corporate sector has extensive resources, intellectual property, commercial acumen and networks, which can be of exceptional benefit to the community sector. Vice versa, community organisations assist causes of interest to corporates’ target audiences. Connecting these two different sectors creates a shared value.

Corporate organisations can strengthen relationships with their consumers and increase brand awareness, whilst effectively using their volunteer hours. Whereas, the community organisations receive the means necessary to further their social mission. In other words, the connection of the two different sectors aids both society and improves business.
