The Centre for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) is one of the oldest civil society organization in Georgia with more than 26 years’ experience of successful work in the civil sector. It seeks to promote good governance, sustainable inclusive economic growth and active citizenship for improved quality of life. Having head office in Tbilisi (capital of Georgia) we carry out our activities throughout Georgia on the local (village, district), as well as the national level.
To fulfill its mission, CSRDG actively works: With general public; With CSOs; With local and national level Government; With private sector.
The main spheres of CSRDG’s activities are: Civil Society Development; Community Development; Promoting Corporate Social Responsibility; Social Services Development; Promoting Social Entrepreneurship; Protection of the Consumers’ Rights; Promoting EU integration and monitoring implementation of EU-Georgia association agreement.
Since 2015 CSRDG is implementing Pro Bono Mediation Initiative. The aim of the initiative is to match beneficiary civil society organizations who need consultancy and relevant companies, who offer pro bono consultancy in the requested spheres. For this purpose CSRDG has also initiated establishment of Pro Bono Network Georgia, which unites Georgian and international companies operating in Georgia who wish to contribute to the sustainable development of the country through providing pro bono services to public benefit organizations. CSRDG is providing expert and administrative support to the Network activities (see: http://probonogeorgia.ge ).
Pro Bono Week takes place every year in October and celebrates the pro bono ethic of the thousands of professionals who volunteer their skills and professional expertise to support nonprofits all around the world.
