TimeHeroes mission is to develop and encourage volunteering culture in Bulgaria. Launched in 2012, TimeHeroes.org has grown to become the largest volunteer platform in the country, with 40,000 registered volunteers, over 600 partner NGOs, and more than 1400 supported causes in 160 locations.
Overall more than 2 million hours of volunteer work have been donated through the platform so far. TimeHeroes.org is a main source for Bulgarian non-profit organizations and active citizens to recruit volunteers.
Pro Bono Week takes place every year in October and celebrates the pro bono ethic of the thousands of professionals who volunteer their skills and professional expertise to support nonprofits all around the world.
